My most recent paintings are influenced by our newly developed sunken garden and Frog Pond. My paintings are committed to the power of color and their visual sense. I articulated a visual language that is personal and abstract. My principal concern is to create paintings that are visually stimulating and that stand for themselves.

Beauty, ambiguity, comic and optical elements, surprise, mystery, irony, these are tools used to produce works of independent value and meanings.

Some of my paintings are in the region of 72 by 72 inches, but most will be less expansive. I most frequently use acrylic paint because of the speed of drying time and the high degree of control.
